Types of data we collect
Whenever someone visits www.bassboutique.co.uk we use a third party service called Google Analytics to collect internet log information, and details of visitor activity. We do this so we can look at how our visitors are use the site, so we can improve the experience for our customers. This log information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone, and neither Google or ourselves will use this to find out the identities of any of our website visitors.
When you register to receive Bass Boutique updates by email, we collect some of your personal information. We then use that information to contact you with marketing updates, offers, and news from Bass Boutique, whilst also checking we have the right records on file for you, and you are happy with the services we give you. We do not rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
Our e-newsletter is delivered by a third-party provider, called Mailchimp. Their platform gathers statistics for us on how many people open our emails, and what they click on – which helps us to improve them for our subscribers. If you not longer want to receive our e-newsletters, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of our emails, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
When you purchase products through the Bass Boutique website, we collect your name, address data, email address and further contact details.
We use this information to complete your order, follow up on your purchase, help with delivery issues, deal with returns, and other issues related to the purchase of Bass Boutique Products. Please be assured that we do not share any of these personal details with any other company without your consent.
Please note, we do not store any payment or credit card information. All transactions are handled by our payment gateway, Paypal.
